Wat Paknam

Wat Paknam is home to one of Bangkok's largest golden Buddhas, rising above the Chao Phraya River. It's also deeply personal to me. My grandmother received the Buddha amulet I wear here in the States. After she passed away, it stayed in my family, moving from my father to my mother, back to my father, and eventually to me. Four generations, one small reminder of where I come from.
